Discover Strength in the 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500

Engine
There are four engine options for the new Silverado 1500, including the standard TurboMax engine. The TurboMax engine provides 310 HP at 5600 rpm with 430 lb.-ft. of torque. This option is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Available engines include a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8, a 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, and a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. The 3.0L Duramax boasts the most profound performance, delivering 305 HP at 3750 rpm with 495 lb.-ft. of torque at 2750 rpm. All of these engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Exterior
The Silverado 1500 comes with a high-strength steel Durabed that can haul any type of material without getting damaged, including abrasive loads of gravel. The CornerStep rear bumper has two hollow, textured foot pads for inserting your foot when climbing into the bed. The cab-mounted cargo area lamps brighten your workspace and create ample lighting during after-hours projects.
Towing
The Silverado 1500 has a maximum towing capacity of 13,300 pounds when paired with the 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. The Silverado Custom and all higher trims come with a Chevy Trailering Package to enhance the towing process. This package includes a trailer hitch, a 2-inch receiver hitch, a trailering hitch platform, a 7-wire electrical harness, and 4-pin and 7-pin connectors.
The Chevy Silverado 1500 also comes with Hitch Guidance, an innovative digital feature that lets you view your trailer on an in-cabin screen. Hitch Guidance uses a rear vision camera to create a digital guideline for attaching your trailer to your hitch. You can then use this view to monitor your trailer during the entire towing process.
Seating
The 2025 Silverado 100 seats up to six people, with two full bench seats. The front bench is a 40/20/40 split, while the rear bench is a 60/40 split. Beneath the front seat, there’s a small storage compartment for work tools or travel essentials, and the back seat can be folded up on either side to create an in-cabin cargo space on the truck’s floor.
Technology
Inside the new Silverado 1500, you’ll find a 7-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system for all of your entertainment needs. This system includes smartphone integration through wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to connect your phone to the truck without any cables. The 2025 Silverado Infotainment system also comes with a free 3-month trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio for hundreds of music stations and live sporting events.
